Tasting - This wine just sings! Dark fruit of plum and cherry jump out of the glass with some clove. On the palate, the wine is fresh, with violets red grapefruit and dark plums on the finish. But the rounded tannins provide a touch of class, whereas I am just rounded, without the class.

FYI: Douro Valley was the first region to be added to the UNESCO World Heritage list.
