Grapes - 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc

Tasting - Such an appealing wine, easily above the 'grand vins' of Pauillac in the 90s and beyond. Cassis and pencil lead with a minty tone. Supple tannins.

FYI: 2017 was overshadowed by the amazing vintages either side of it. For those who like their Bordeaux classic, 2017 really wasn't bad. Just smaller amounts made. Doesn't matter really because you've got the wine in your glass, right?
