Grapes - Dolcetto, Croatina

Tasting - Pleasingly dense with a smoky black plum and cherry scent. It's got the hallmarks of Piedmontese red wine though; brisk acidity and a chewy texture of protein-loving tannin to keep it from being just simple alcoholic fruit juice though.

FYI: Valli Unite are one of a very few 'natural wine' co-operatives. Natural winemaking (wild yeast/old oak/low s02) at its best here.
