Grapes - 50% Syrah, 50% Carignan

Tasting - Lively dark berry scents with a trace of baking spices and black pepper. Some flavours of the garrigue (the wild scrubland) such as thyme and fennel seed on the palate ensure this is more than just a jug wine.

FYI: Although the Languedoc is quite a warm region these grapes come from an area benefitting from the cooling breezes of the nearby Bassin de Thau.
