Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc

Tasting: Beautiful perfume of white flowers, lemon zest and pear with a hint of fennel. The expected citrus firmness on the palate is wrapped in a pleasant smooth coat of stone fruit, with that same note of fennel on the long, zesty finish.

FYI: Whilst mainly a white wine region, Sancerre also produces red and rosé from Pinot Noir.
