Style - Vibrant
Grapes - Bastarda
Tasting - Racy, red-fruit nose, more restrained than their other reds, with lovely peppery notes and sour cherry fruit. Low tannin, but plenty of acid. Great served chilled.
Isolation Pairing: Calling the cat a bastarda.
FYI: We all love laying into a Bastarda every now and again. Bastarda is actually a grape variety and is also know as Trousseau in Jura.
