Tasting - Deep set cassis and blackberry jam tones lead the way here with a deep, throbbing vein of earthy flavour. There's a hint of truffle and cooked plum with a sweetly attuned dose of new oak adding an extra layer of detail. 

FYI: If you're one of those people who keeps a vintage chart in your wallet then 2019 in Margaux will be a 9 out 10 and right up there with the best of the best.
