Wine should be fun, not complicated. Here are answers to the questions we get most often about ordering online with Vagabond. If your question is not here, just email us at weborders@vagabondwines.co.uk and we will be happy to help.
Who delivers my wine?
All our orders are delivered by DPD. Once your bottles are on the way, you will receive a tracking link so you can follow every step until they reach your door.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery is day one for day three. Need it sooner? You can pay extra for next day delivery at checkout.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to the UK mainland. Right now we are not able to deliver to islands or to Ireland.
What if I am not home?
If you are not in, DPD will try a neighbour. If that does not work, they will leave you a note with details to rearrange or collect from your local depot. They will try twice before holding your wine for a week, after which it comes back to us. If we need to resend, another delivery charge may apply.
Can I collect from a Vagabond bar?
No. The wines online are a special range unique to our website and cannot be collected in-store.
Can I click and collect from Majestic?
Not at the moment. We are part of the Majestic Wine group, but online orders cannot be collected from Majestic stores. If you have a special request, email us and we will see what we can do.
Will I earn loyalty points on my Vagabond app?
Not yet. Online purchases do not currently earn points in the Vagabond app, but we are working on it.
Can I get Vagabond wines I had in the bar online?
Sometimes. There is some crossover — for example Vagabond Urban Winery wines are available both online and in our bars — but the full online range is unique.
Do you sell mixed cases?
Yes. Our buyers have put together mixed cases so you can explore different wines without the guesswork.
Do you offer subscriptions?
Not right now. At the moment it is single orders only.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are handled through Shopify. That means we accept major cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. You can also pay with PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, depending on what is supported where you are ordering from.
What if something breaks in transit?
It does not happen often, but if a bottle is broken, DPD lets us know and we resend it straight away. Please still check your boxes when they arrive and let us know if anything looks damaged so we can put it right quickly.
What if I do not like the wine?
If a wine is corked or spoiled, we will replace or refund it with no fuss. If it is just not to your taste, let us know anyway. We will use that to help recommend something better next time.
How do I know my order has gone through?
You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is placed. When it leaves us, DPD will email you with a tracking link and a delivery time (usually within a 4 hour window).
What if I made a mistake on my order?
Email weborders@vagabondwines.co.uk as soon as you can. If the order has not left us yet, we can fix it. If it has already been dispatched, we will do our best to help.
Can I send wine as a gift?
Yes. Just add the recipient’s address at checkout. Want to include a note? Email us after placing your order and we will do our best to add it in.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes — digital ones. Quick to buy, easy to send, and always appreciated.
Are there age restrictions?
Yes. By law we cannot sell alcohol to anyone under 18. You may be asked to show proof of age on delivery.
In short: If something goes wrong, we fix it. If a wine is not right, we put it right. And if you need us, we are only ever an email away.
