Tasting - Spicy and earthy tones of plum cake, spices and coffee grinds open out into a surprisingly energetic palate with a mid-weight body. Dark chocolate and blueberry pastille flavours bring up the finish nicely.
FYI: Named after the creator of this love/hate grape - Abraham Izak Perold - who cross-pollinated Pinot Noir and Cinsault to begat Pinotage.
