Tasting: There is no mistaking that this is New Zealand pinot noir. More ripe aromas of black cherry and blackcurrant, with a hint of dried strawberry and a savoury edge. The palate is powerful for a pinot, but with integrity and purity.
FYI: 'Pinot Noir' translates to 'Black Pine' as the shape of the bunches resemble those of a pine cone and the grapes are.....well...dark in colour obviousl.
