VAL DE MEIGAS
Val de Meigas sits in the Salnés Valley, the beating heart of Rías Baixas and home to the best Albariño in Galicia. Here, tiny vineyard plots roll down to the Atlantic, soaking up salt spray, river mist and endless sunshine. It’s proper coastal wine country, and winemaker Rebeca Barral knows it better than anyone. She and her family do everything by hand, from pruning to harvest, blending tradition with just enough tech to keep things sharp. Her Albariños are bright, fresh and full of sea-breeze energy — the kind of wines that taste alive and a little bit wild.
