CHATEAU GRAND BOISE - Sainte Victoire Rouge

2023 • 750ml • 12.0%

Earthy Fruity
  • France > Cotes de Provence > Sainte Victoire
  • Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Herbes de Provence crusted lamb

Akin to some of the grand names of the southern Rhone valley such as Gigondas or Rasteau. A wholly terroir transparent winemaking process results in a crisp and succulent wine redolent of wild herbs, juniper and prune with a touch of cassis and some earthy tones too.

£26.00 Per bottle, tax included.

COLIN'S NOTE

While around 85-90% of Provence's black grapes go on to make pale pink wines there's a handful of us who crave the dense and robust reds of the region.

IN SHORT

A bold, herb-scented Provençal red with real depth, power and swagger.

CHATEAU GRAND BOISE

CHATEAU GRAND BOISE

Château Grand Boise isn’t your typical sun-soaked Provence story. Sure, there’s the postcard view of olive trees and lavender, but here they’re doing things the Vagabond way, experimenting, pushing boundaries, and having a great time doing it. From a zippy, lemon-laced Vermentino that feels like a sea breeze in a glass, to a unicorn Clairette bottled only in magnums because, well, why not, these are wines made for curious drinkers. And when it comes to reds, Grand Boise really shows its class, crafting complex, prestige-worthy wines that balance freshness with depth. This is the kind of range that makes us grin, proper characterful bottles that prove the South of France can still surprise you.
