David & Nadia Sadie are well established as leading producers in Swartland. Grenache is ideal for the warm climate here. Picked early, left in concrete and old wood. It confounds with its delicacy and freshness. And the label was painted by a Vagabond-er!

David & Nadia are part of the new wave that’s put Swartland on every wine lover’s map. Working with old bush vines on mountain slopes and a patchwork of soil types, they chase purity, freshness and a true sense of place. David grew up in the region, while Nadia brings serious soil science to the mix — together they keep it minimal in the cellar and let the vineyards do the talking. The result?
