FAMILLE DE BOEL FRANCE Saint Joseph Rouge - Rue des Poulies
2023 • 750ml • 13.5%
- France > Rhone Valley > Saint Joseph
- Syrah
- Le magret du canard s'il vous plait?
This cheeky Saint Joseph is full of black fruit, spices and pepper. On the palate the tannins are supple and the wine shows a nice balance on a complex fruit.
COLIN'S NOTE
It is hard not to love this family. Starting from scratch, they have etched out a corner of the Rhone that is their's. We love their philosophy of sustainable living. And the wines are banging too.
IN SHORT
Peppery, juicy, modern Saint-Joseph.
FAMILLE DE BOEL FRANCE
Famille de Boël are the rising stars of the Rhône — a young family who swapped years of working for others to launch their own winery in 2016. From their base in Lemps they now craft wines across Saint-Joseph, Cornas and beyond, with an energy and freshness that’s turning heads. Committed to the land, food and the good life, they’re bringing a new spirit to one of France’s oldest wine regions.
