FAMILLE DE BOEL FRANCE Les Voraces
2024 • 750ml • 12.5%
- France > Collines Rhodaniennes
- Syrah
- Lamb shank
A deep red syrah, the nose shows a beautiful black fruit and spices. On the palate, supple tannins, on a full wine and a very nice balance on a complex fruit.
COLIN'S NOTE
The fruit comes from vines around the winery in northern Rhone, along with some Cornas and St Joseph vines - so there is some seriously good fruit in here leading to the impressive structure of the wine.
IN SHORT
Juicy Northern Rhône Syrah with depth
FAMILLE DE BOEL FRANCE
Famille de Boël are the rising stars of the Rhône — a young family who swapped years of working for others to launch their own winery in 2016. From their base in Lemps they now craft wines across Saint-Joseph, Cornas and beyond, with an energy and freshness that’s turning heads. Committed to the land, food and the good life, they’re bringing a new spirit to one of France’s oldest wine regions.
