FAMILLE DE BOEL Cotes du Rhone - Assieges
2023 • 750ml • 13.5%
- France > Rhone Valley
- Grenache, Syrah, Carignan
- Vintage Cheddar
This wine has an elegant nose of black fruit, with beautiful floral, violet and wild herb note. The palate is simply delicious, being full and supple at the same time.
COLIN'S NOTE
Les assiégés'? A reference to Paris under siege in 1870. Where Chef Choron cooked up the unusual Christmas meal of elephant broth, roasted camel and haunch of wolf on the menu. Yeah, no thanks.
IN SHORT
Fresh, floral, soulful from a rising Rhône star
FAMILLE DE BOEL FRANCE
Famille de Boël are the rising stars of the Rhône — a young family who swapped years of working for others to launch their own winery in 2016. From their base in Lemps they now craft wines across Saint-Joseph, Cornas and beyond, with an energy and freshness that’s turning heads. Committed to the land, food and the good life, they’re bringing a new spirit to one of France’s oldest wine regions.
